The U.T.S Story

Ultimate Technical Solutions (U.T.S.) was set up in 1992 by Peter Serle. Peter is a Mechanical Design Draftsman by profession and had previously worked for 16 years for VicRoads in design and upgrades to specialised Road Equipment, including Linemarking Machines and Reflector Laying Equipment.

He was involved in design and manufacture of the still used VicRoads Medium Linemarker and the 2500L and 4000L, Truck Mounted push trolley machines with paint heating, of the 1980’s.

Under the U.T.S. logo, we have:

Redesigned and built 5 larger capacity, more stable, U.T.S. Medium Linemarkers - 300L paint and the last 2 with 300Kg of beads and automotive style power steering. Have retrofitted one with this steering.

Some other projects have been Bitumen Crumbed Rubber Trucks with on board weighing & metering, Houseboat Transporter for Lake Eildon and Off-Road Tree Trimming Machines.

We have completed projects for Boral, Readymix (now part of Downer), Allmark, Laser Linemarking, Rapid Linemarking, VicRoads / SprayLine and as a subcontractor for Eastern Tree Services, Vemco and other end users.

We have been repairing, upgrading and major overhauling Borum Thermoplastic Machines since around 2010, so we know them thoroughly. We can also supply rebuilt augers and stock some competitively priced spares.

We have also retrofitted locally available transmission pumps to a Borum 350 to overcome the problem with drive spline wear and to an older Hofmann paint machine as a replacement. Hydraulics is our specialty. We design and supply systems and replacement parts, including substitutes. Our many years of experience has given us a good understanding of which components and parts last well and provide reliable performance.
